JR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Currently we are seeking an entry-level electrical engineer in the design of electrical systems for recreational, commercial, educational, and multi-family residential projects.

As a member of a small company, all engineers are involved in their projects from beginning to end, enabling them to rapidly gain a broad range of skills and knowledge that is impossible to obtain at a much larger company. Duties & Responsibilities

- Electrical load calculations

- New and/or altered electric service

- Utility coordination

- Standby generators

- Power distribution within building

- Wiring for HVAC and plumbing equipment, elevators, and specialized systems

- Lighting, lighting controls, exit and emergency lighting

- Site surveying – visiting existing buildings to evaluate existing conditions

- Construction Administration – visiting projects under construction to verify work is being completed per design.

Requirements

- BS or BE Electrical Engineering degree or similar. Transcript may be requested.

- Preference 3 to 5 years of experience

- EIT certification is a plus

- Experience in construction industry is a plus

- Familiarity with AutoCAD

- Fluent in English
