HISTORY

Our history began in 1981 when Werner founded Werner E. Tietjen, P.E. Consulting Engineers. Our firm has been providing engineering services to the New York Metropolitan area and beyond ever since. Starting out as a two-man office, Werner has grown the company and its reputation to become one of the leading MEP consulting firms in the area. These decades of experience are harnessed to consistently and seamlessly mesh proven techniques with modern technology to create truly innovative and reliable systems.

Tietjen Venegas Consulting Engineers was established in 2018 when Edison Venegas, longtime principal at Werner E. Tietjen Consulting Engineers joined Werner as a principal of the firm.

PEOPLE

Our staff possesses a wide range of skills, experience and certifications that enable us to provide complete and thorough solutions and designs on all of our projects. All of our engineers receive rigorous training across multiple disciplines to ensure that all projects are designed in a truly holistic manner. We also have engineers who are trained in BIM(Revit MEP) design and have completed multiple projects with full MEP Revit designs.
